The biggest advancement to thirty years of terminal sire breeding is combining the Dorset and Hampshire Down breed into a single breeding program. While historically we have branded our composite terminal program the ‘Tradie’ we believe the HampshireFX brand offers a more descriptive, effective way of marketing a highly marbled, high growth terminal sire product.

The HampshireFX program uses the benefits of hybrid vigour which sees better structure, semen quality and ram longevity. Add in a reduced pregnancy gestation it’s commonly used over ewe lambs and maidens.

We see the HampshireFX as a high muscled, high marbling sire suited to premium markets who have pay premiums for marbling.
